Delivery

Customers are always advised to arrange for delivery & transportation themselves and are also welcome to collect the goods from the stock yard. However, if you need, on your behalf, we can arrange delivery of the product using third party pallet networks, cost for which shall be charged separately.

Deliveries are usually made using an 18ton lorry with a tail lift. This requires a solid, concrete or tarmac flat surface for the offload. Deliveries are kerbside only We cannot deliver onto a slope, loose gravel chippings, , soft, uneven ground. Please ensure someone is available to sign for the delivery, otherwise you will be liable for re-delivery charges the goods are unable to be left. Whilst  carriers will always make every effort to deliver the products on the agreed delivery date,  we can not be held responsible for matters beyond our control that results in your products not arriving on the day in question.

Please do not book any tradesmen until the product physically arrives with you. If you choose to book a contractor before arrival, we are not responsible for consequential loss of earnings. Stone Footing Ltd will be in no way liable to you for any loss, damage or expenses, either indirect or consequential, resulting out of the above situations or from the use of products purchased by you on Stone Footing Ltd.

Returns

We are happy to accept returns and within 7  days  of the delivery date, and subject to the following conditions

We can only accept return on full orders, we cannot accept returns of excess product or leftovers.

you are legally obligated to take care of the products whilst in your possession. You must not unpack them and they must remain in the condition that they were delivered to you, in their original packaging. You will be responsible for arranging a courier to return the goods, covering any costs, fees and risk that arise from the return of the goods. If the goods are received on return are deemed to be in resalable condition we will issue a refund, minus any delivery charges and a 20% restocking fee within 30 days of receipt of goods in our warehouse. You will not be entitled to any refund if the goods are not returned to us in resalable condition.

Damages

Whilst every effort is made to get the stone to you in perfect condition, natural stones being fragile in nature, we request you to take this in consideration. We shall not refund up to 10% for breakages as these can be used for cuts. Please report any breakages within 48 hours of receipt. We cannot be held responsible for the damages reported outside this time frame. Please provide sufficient evidence to establish damage from inside the crate.
